People of the State Set an Example by Not Bursting Crackers, It's a Self Motivated Drive, People Deserve a Big ‘Thank You’


Jaipur, 15 November. Chief Minister Shri Ashok Gehlot expressed his gratitude to the people of Rajasthan for abiding by the resolution of not bursting crackers on Deepawali. He said that it is really commendable that people showing understanding, fulfilled their duty of protecting life and have expressed their commitment as a responsible citizen in the fight against corona. This self-motivated drive is really praiseworthy, he added.

Shri Gehlot said that by not bursting crackers to protect the life of patients suffering from respiratory diseases and corona infection citizens have expressed their devotion towards social concerns. “This social awareness instills new hope in me. This resolution shows that irrespective of any adverse conditions, the people of the State are always ready to face them. All the residents of the State deserve a big ‘Thank You’,” he said. 

The Chief Minister said that continuous support was extended from all walks of the society in the fight against COVID-19 which resulted in excellent management of corona in Rajasthan. Whether fulfilling the resolution of ‘No One Sleeps Hungry’ or the public movement started to put on masks, the people of the State have extended cooperation on every occasion. “We not only have hope but full faith that with your cooperation we will win this battle against COVID-19,” he added. The Chief Minister expressing gratitude to all the people of State, once again extended heartfelt greetings and best wishes of Deepawali, Govardhan and Bhaiya Dooj.
