District Collector Shri Antar Singh Nehra has directed the Municipal Corporation and Civil Protection Department to ensure that fire fighting arrangements are made in Jaipur city and rural areas in view of the possibility of fire incidents on Deepawali. He has instructed to deploy adequate number of fire fighting vehicles at the identified places with skilled staff and equipment.
Shri Nehra informed that the Municipal Corporation should be stationed at Dhanteras on November 13 from 3.00 pm at Ramganj, Manak Chouk, Kotwali, Shastri Nagar, Adarsh Nagar, Police Control Room, Memorabilia and Police Station Ramganj, Manak Chouk, Kotwali, Shastrinagar from 11.30 am on November 14. , Vidyadhar Nagar, Adarsh Nagar, Vaishali Nagar, Mansarovar, Malviya Nagar, Amer, Sanganer and Police Control Room, instructions have been given to ensure availability of necessary equipment and staff for fire fighting vehicles at the memorial.

Asked to monitor around LPG bottling plant
District Collector Shri Nehra has given the Deputy Commissioner of Police, West and South, on Diwali, keeping in view of the potential danger and disaster management arrangements in the highly flammable LPG IOCL bottling plant Sitapura and BPCL's bottling plant VKI Road No. 14, Sikar Road, Jaipur. In the 500 meter radius zone of the plant, special vigilance has been asked to be monitored.
