State-level War Room Will Provide Medical Facilities to Corona Infected Patients Within 30 minutes – Health Minister
Jaipur, 21 September. Health Minister Dr Raghu Sharma said that the State-level war room functioning round the clock at the Secretariat will help in getting medical facilities to the corona infected patients in just 30 minutes. He said the Helpline number of this war room is 181.
Shri Sharma said that all the problems of the corona patients or their family members will be resolved in a maximum of 30 minutes through this war and its related district-level war room. He said that names and mobile numbers of employees and officers deployed at the district-level war room will be available at the State-level war room. Similarly, information of all testing centres related to COVID-19, list of private and government COVID Dedicated Hospitals with telephone numbers will be available here.
The Health Minister said that the district-level war room under the chairmanship of the District Collector will function 24 hours at the district’s leading Dedicated Hospital. The said district-level war room with an administrative officer, two doctors and other personnel will function in three shifts. The real-time information of available beds at all the COVID Dedicated Hospital and information related to ambulances will be available at this war room. He said that a telephone number and a computer with net connection and CCTV cameras are being installed for monitoring the war room. He said all war rooms have been directed to provide information about all kinds of beds in COVID Dedicated Hospitals.
Dr Sharma said that patients in isolation or their family members can contact the state-level war room on 181 and can tell about their problems. After this, the deployed personnel will give the said information to the district-level war room and will also put on the Rajasthan Sampark portal and will be committed to resolve the problems at the earliest. All district-level war rooms have been instructed to resolve the problems of patients or family members in a maximum of 30 minutes. He said that if asymptomatic patient demand for any medical advice then the doctor present at the Help Desk will help the patient and on the demand of medicine, will be provided under Chief Minister Free Medicine Scheme. While, the ambulance will be arranged to symptomatic patients to admit them to COVID Dedicated Hospitals, on the request made by them.
The Health Minister said that the district-level war room has been entrusted with the responsibility to provide ICU, ventilator, and other medical facilities at the earliest to the serious patients and to get them admitted to COVID hospital by ferrying them through government referral transport facilities. After resolving the problems of patients or their family members, the personnel deployed at the district-level war room should give the said information to the State-level war room and will also register the same on Rajasthan Sampark portal. If the district-level war room does not take action within half an hour then the State-level war room directing it for necessary action will inform it to the additional District Collector and ask for immediate solution.
Number of Beds at RUHS COVID Centre will be increased to 900
Dr Sharma has directed to increase the number of beds at State’s leading COVID Dedicated Hospital RUHS Jaipur from 500 to 900. There is a plan to develop Metro Mas Hospital in Jaipur as COVID Centre. At the same time, beds have also been taken in ESI Hospital, Railway Hospital and patients are being admitted. The Health Minister said that the recovery rate of corona infected patients in the State has crossed 83%, whereas the mortality rate is 1.6%. This shows that the Rajasthan Government is continuously strengthening its services to save the general public from corona pandemic. He said that there is sufficient arrangement of oxygen cylinders at all COVID Centres. Oxygen cylinders are continuously being procured for this so that no patient faces any shortage of oxygen. The work is on to set up a generation plant for sufficient arrangement of oxygen at COVID Dedicated Hospitals.
