Addendum to Lock Down 4.0 Implementation Order dated May 18th, 2020

Swarup, Additional Chief Secretary, Home Department has issued an order
regarding Addendum to Lock Down 4.0 Implementation Order dated May 18th,
2020.
According to the order the following
amendments are made in the lock Down 4.0 Implementation Order of even number
dated May 18th, 2020:
1. In Part D of the Order, the following activities are now
permitted in the Red Zone with the restrictions stated below:
(1) Taxis (including cab
aggregators like OLA, Uber etc.) & Auto Rickshaws
• Taxis at airports, as permitted by the
Airport authorities
• Taxis and auto rickshaws at
Railway Stations / Hospitals (as per the number / rotation permitted by
the Traffic Police)
• Taxis / auto rickshaws from
home (excluding containment zone) to Airport/ Railway Stations / Hospitals.
These would operate with the following conditions:
i.
Passenger
limit will not exceed as follows:
a. Taxis : Driver plus maximum 2 passengers.
b. Auto rickshaw : Driver plus one passenger.
ii. The drivers will
wear mask and ensure proper sanitization of the seats and touch points
before and after each journey.
iii. The drivers will
ensure proper social distancing of 6 feet at the point of waiting (railway
station etc.). Any violation will entail strict legal action and suspension.
(2) Parks /
Parks /
i. They can remain open from 7.00 AM to 6.45 PM, or in morning
/ evening shifts in this time
period.
ii.
All
touch contact related activities will be closed / covered to ensure that they
are not used - Like open gyms / swings etc.
iii. The restrictions on places of Worship, if any
inside the Park, shall continue to remain in force.
iv. Strict social
distancing shall be maintained and no gathering of 5 or more persons at any
particular point.
v.
The
authorities in charge of the park shall be held accountable for ensuring compliance
of the conditions.
2. In "Part A. RESTRICTIONS, (2) Prohibited
Activities":
Entry at serial number vii. "
However, such sale shall only be for
take away only since the restriction at B. 4 - "Consumption
of liquor, paan, gutka, tobacco etc. in public place is strictly
prohibited" shall continue to remain in force.
Also the prohibition at B. 2 -
"Spitting in public & work places shall be punishable
with fine" shall also continue to remain in force.
3. The
following clarification is also issued:
All persons selling items on hand carts
/ kiosks / small shops like food items, juice, tea or other items already stand
permitted. However, they would be required to adhere the following
conditions:
(1)
maintain the required standards of
cleanliness and hygiene, and garbage disposal.
(2)
maintain social distancing and other
safety precautions prescribed. No gathering of persons shall be
permissible.
(3) No entry in such shops shall be permitted.
